Thread: Military RPG

Okay, i know you all dread when i make an RPG, and/or participate in one but i swear to you that this time i actually will stand by the rules i set and will keep it pg rated.

Anyway, the RPG i'm proposing is obviously a military one. The basic story line is that a group of privates(that will be formed by us), from all around the world have been selected to form a specialist task force to combate a growing underground threat coming from somewhere withing the United States of America.

However at the start they don't know why they have been chosen or what they have been chosen for.

Sounds cool. Can they be from any section of any military in the world? If so I'm in even faster than before

okay... I'll write up a basic profile then.

Name: Tom Grayson
Age: 23
Rank: Private
Nationality: British
Regiment: Parachute Regiment

Private Grayson had been in 2 Para for barely a week before he had his first infraction of the barrack rules, sneaking two prostitutes into the camp for two soldiers who had been detained for disobeying direct orders. He recieved two weeks of detention with a deduction in pay for two months.
However this seemed not to do the trick and he was found not to have correctly polished and cared for his parade ground attire. He was once again detained and had several weeks pay docked.
But this young man does show great promise, both as a foot soldier and as a leader of men. He is always the first to volenteer for anything during the exercises, even going so far as to push a fellow soldier out of line during a practice drop to take the position at the front of the line. During hs survival training it was noted that he left the exercise area by cutting through the fence and proceeded to steal food from the officer's mess. However he was not detained for this action under my instruction. He showed true inititive that cannot be taught by any instructor.
He has excelled in all forms of combat we have taught him and more, as witnessed by a certain Captian Bradle when he was found in the middle of a bar fight. His skill behind the wheel of any truck or car is minimal but sufficient. His true potential however lies in his unwavering courage and devotion to duty. It has been observed that although he has broken many barrack's rules he has never shown any sign of disobeying a direct order.
We have submitted him as an applicant for one reason and one reason only. This man is a brilliant soldier but he is not fit to be seen in the eyes of the public as a soldier of her magisty's British Army.

Private Payne has been with us since the age of 16 but due to her complete and utter disrespect for any male she is under the command of, has failed to be promoted once. She is a great soldier, specialising in heavy weaponry and driving. In her training she came out top of all the males in her within her unit, she has a never say die attitude and refuses to allow anyone to control her. The only reason she’s still here is under my direct command. I am recommending her for this unit as I believe having people around her that can actually challenge her will do her good and maybe allow her to forget her troubled past, I will also be recommending her big brother for this unit as he is the only one at this present point in time that can get her to contain her anger and fustraition.

Private Julius Jason is a model soldier, besides his three court trials for disorderly and conduct unbecoming of a soldier, and he is an inspiration to all around him. He was the top of his class in basic training, advanced training, heavy weapons training, driver training and parachute training. He has completed two tours of duty in active combat, and has refused promotion to the higher ranks, and is a real soldier's soldier.

He has been sent to the task force because he has highly likeable leadership qualities and is a good soldier in all areas.

lol, I'm sorry but I just find it somewhat amusing that RB is the only one who isn't in an airborne division

Shgir is boisterous, undisciplined and has a problem with following orders to the letter. in spite of this Private Shgir is a fine soldier, can handle pressure and can accomplish tasks with minimum projected casualties. He is especially proficient with his sidearm and Kalashikov and is a satifactory sniper. He has been known to defend his friends fiercely both verbally and physically and has been disciplined when others soldiers have complained about his conduct. he has been assigned this command as a way to redeem himself in order to gain promotion. as he and his fellow soldier Pvt. Sacha Dagarov are a potent mix in concert I have decided to recommend them both.
