err... anyone know latin?
I just need one line translated:
'Worship The Puppet Master'
i don't trust the net to get it completley accurate
any help would be... nifty.

Supplicatum ad magistri = pray to the master. I dont know the word for puppet. The construction would probably have to be master of puppets because of the way latin grammar works.

'Cultus puppet vinco'. Vinco is the word which means 'master' it can also be 'magistre' or dozens of others.
Deviger, I don't know where you got that translation from, but it's wrong. 'Ad' means 'to' or 'towards'. 'Supplicatum' I've never heard tell of. And magistri does mean 'master'. But the actual translation should be 'Cultus puppet vinco'. 'Cultus' means 'worship' and 'puppet' was derived from the same latin word.
PS: The latin word for 'pray' is 'precor'.

I can't find "puppet" as an actual Latin word :\. Neither can I see how "cultus" can be a verb. Hey, I might be wrong  .
I came up with "Comadora pupuli dominus". Or literally, "Worship the puppet's master". I'm pretty sure it's grammatically correct as well, as a bonus  . |

Well, I've consulted my Latin Professor. And here's what I've come up with..
Puppet isn't a Latin word.
Vinco isn't a noun >.o.
It can't be "Puppet Master", because nouns don't modify nouns in Latin. It has to be "Master of Puppets".
"Laudate pupuli dominus" = "Praise the Master of Puppets"
He says "laudare" fits better . |
