I am thirty and have a two year younger brother. He hasn't even lived in the same city as me for years, and he and his girlfriend just got officially engaged today (I've known about it for several weeks, though). He's a grown man with a job and wife-to-be he even lives with, and I suspect it won't be long until she gets pregnant. I believe his exact words were "Um... we'll talk about that later".
Even so, I still consider him my young brother. I'm not sure why, though. We had the same friends when we were growning up, but we have had different friends the last twelve, fifteen years at least. I never really considered him "Too young" to hang out with me and my friends after we got our own friends, but never really cared to ask him to join us either.
Still, when we are alone or at home, I consider him a great friend. We have our differences, of course, but we generally get along just fine.
