Talking interactions

hi it is me again, you lot are going to get fed up of me.

don't if you can help. this might sound like a bit of a silly question. so i try explain. i have this scenerio you see with this medieval type half-elf prince. for the most of the story he is 16-18. in my society they dont come adults until winter of 20th year. obvuiously therefore his gaurdian would still consider him a child, but he has an elder brother (11 years his senior) they are close, but as i am a female writer not quite sure whether his brother and his brothers friends would consider him a kid too and how they would be with him when together.

any help would be appreciate as i am not sure on this. male camerandery and all that.

thanks

I am thirty and have a two year younger brother. He hasn't even lived in the same city as me for years, and he and his girlfriend just got officially engaged today (I've known about it for several weeks, though). He's a grown man with a job and wife-to-be he even lives with, and I suspect it won't be long until she gets pregnant. I believe his exact words were "Um... we'll talk about that later".

Even so, I still consider him my young brother. I'm not sure why, though. We had the same friends when we were growning up, but we have had different friends the last twelve, fifteen years at least. I never really considered him "Too young" to hang out with me and my friends after we got our own friends, but never really cared to ask him to join us either.

Still, when we are alone or at home, I consider him a great friend. We have our differences, of course, but we generally get along just fine.

well considering that they are half elf... what would their culture and upbringing cause them to look at him as?

If the culture says you are not an adult until "winter of 20th year" than they would probably consider him a child... but if he is unusually mature for his age perhaps the older siblings would view him as that and even come to his defense when someone calls him a child.
