And read/watch Lord Of The Flies. It starts simple with some boys going on vacation on a tropical island (I think, been ages). For some reason I don't remember they are left alone, and everyone is happy at first. The problem is when the situation starts to mess with their heads, and they divide themselves into two tribes. While they used to be nice, friendly children, they soon devolve into some sort of barbarians and even starts killing each other. It's not a horror story, but it's still scary how much they start to change simply because they are all alone.

Yeah, Lord of the Flies is a reminder that children are not born nice people.

Of course, anyone with a two year old learns that pretty fast, too.

Or are they? That's the problem with Lord Of The Flies. As I remember the kids were nice to each other at first, but the situation changed them. Or were they evil all along, and could finally unleash their potential when they were alone? Hm... now that's a question.
