Arin is on a distinguished road
Harlem in the 1960's

Hi. I guess this is a kind of strange request, but I'm looking for anyone that grew up in Harlem (New York) during the late 1950's through the 60's. I guess "growing up" means you were 21 years or younger during this time period. I'm looking for anyone, male or female, and if you could reply and/or PM me, that would be great. I have a few questions for those who fit the bill.

I am also looking for any books, stories or articles with people's personal accounts of childhood during this time period. And yes, I know how to use Google and am looking on my own, but I'd like YOUR recommendations too.

...This is for a story I may or may not write. I know I have a ton of research ahead of me if I decide to pursue it, but I would like to start with personal accounts to provide some basis for my storyline and research.

Thank you!
