weakness (or sleepiness), nausea/vomiting, paleness, confusion.

Is there anything out there that can do this? Not a fantasy novel so I can't make something up, and I'd like it not to kill the person.

Entered the body by a wound.

Aspartame!

lol, well, the symptoms are off by a bit... It was just the first thing that came to mind.
Seriously though, if you gave someone a good dose of pure aspartame(an artificial sweetener) it'd probably blind them.

Water hemlock. In REALLY small doses it acts as a powerful sefative. I don't think it causes confusion or if it makes your complexion go pale, but it will make you vomit if you take a poisonous dose, and it will make your stomach hurt like fuck.

does it have to be from a certain country or region?

and a lot of the plants listed above are only active across mucus membranes (orally)

your best bets for entry through a wound are-

Oleander (although it may be a little more toxic than what you're going for)
Curare (contrary to popular belief, curare doesnt kill, it just paralyzes the lungs, so the target can be kept alive if artificial respiration is used)
Milkweed or Acocanthera would do
and finally wolfsbane/aconite/monkshood

Your biggest problem is that, historically, very few poisons that enter through the bloodsteam have been used for anything but killing. If you poison an arrow, you want whoever you shoot to DIE. Because of this, the majority of the poisons I just listed are, in fact, deadly. But vomiting and nausea are nearly universal symptoms, so perhaps a miniscule dosage would be less lethal.

Sorry I couldn't find anything more ideal, but if I think of it, I'll let you know.

---Description---A poisonous climbing plant with ash-coloured corky bark, leaves stalked, heart-shaped, smooth, underside pale with tufts of hair at the junctions of the nerves and at the base of the leaves, the flowers are pendulous panicles, male and female blooms on different plants; fruit round and kidney shaped, outer coat thin, dry, browny, black and wrinkled, inside a hard white shell divided into two containing a whitish seed, crescent shaped and very oily. ---Constituents---The chief constituent is the bitter, crystalline, poisonous substance, picrotoxin; the seed also contains about 50 per cent. of fat.
---Medicinal Action and Uses---The powdered berries are sometimes used as an ointment for destroying lice; the entire fruits are used to stupefy fish, being thrown on the water for that purpose. Picrotoxin is a powerful convulsive poison used principally to check night sweats in phthisis by its action in accelerating respiration, but it is not always successful. It was at one time used to adulterate beers, increasing their reputation as intoxicants; it is an antidote in Morphine poisoning.

~Looks like it has qualities that imitate hormones; would be effective by direct contact with the bloodstream (e.g. wound)
