I think autism is generally a mental disorder that can be influenced by the patient's nature. Some autistic kids are completely locked into themselves, some have awareness of the world around them and can interact.

I believe that about an IQ of 75 is generally seen to be mental retardtion, though I doubt it's called that anymore. But I think using the IQ as a definite form of measurement for someone's brilliance is like using the BMI as a definite form of measurement for someone's weight - can be used but there are other more accurate measurements.

And no Kimba, if Maths is your worst subject then that does not make you a retard, otherwise I'd be one as well.
