New York City area universities
I'm creating a character that goes to college for four years to get an English BA. That's hardly the tough part. The character needs a minor in computer technology/hardware or something with similar classes, but all of the universities I've looked at so far only have computer science or information technology, which isn't the same thing. And I'm not looking for a tech school.
So my question is this: is there a university in the NYC area that has both an English degree and a computer technology/hardware minor?

Yeah I agree with LisaJane, I don't think anyone's going to disregard your story if you invent what you need.

or, you could do the research yourself and google all the ny-area unis to see which have what you want... the major part of a writer's job is often doing the research, before we even write a word of our story/book... might's well get used to it, if you want a career as a writer...

Yeah, I was thinking of making one up, but I figured I'd see if someone on here knew of any off-hand. I like as much reality as possible. It's a flaw.
Mamma, I have been doing research trying to find one. Days of it, in fact. But, like I said, I was hoping someone might know.
Thanks, guys.

Iona College, a few miles northeast at New Rochelle (Westchester Co.), is a possibility.
