CroZ is on a distinguished road
site for learning French

anyone know any reliable sites?
I tried googling but it's all paysites and those 'where is the bus stop' lessons.
Preferably with a forum too.
Oh, and that's easy to understand.
No here's a list of verbs and noun sites.

Thanks

So you want to learn how to speak French without learning verbs and nouns or taking lessons? Good luck with that.

huh?
I need a site that teaches you how to use French correctly, grammar .etc. Not just supply me with a bunch of random/useful phrases and words.

Ilan Bouchard is an unknown quantity at this point
I think you'd be better off with a book/textbook than with a website.

I know that anything that's not available on the net is kinda uncool, but have you tried your library? Mine has virtually every langauge you can think of on CD.

I'd suggested taking an actual class in French, in the evenings or weekends. There's probably at least one in your city.

I'll try a book, but I work better with computers, faster reading and such.
I don't work well in classes, it's easier for me to figure it out myself. That's what I did for Japanese anyway - up until I started drinking heavily.

thanks for the help

LOL, maia! I don't suppose CroZ is looking to write a book in French, but you never know.

CroZ, you can get audio tapes and software, but you'll have to buy them to get anything decent. As Mike says, try your library, or your local computer store. Have you even looked on Amazon to see what is available?
