Indonesian names
Still planning my NaNoWriMo, and having toruble with naming those Generic Evil Terrorists.
Accoridng to Wikipedia, Indonesians generally only have a single name. But all of thsoe convicted in the 2002 Bali bombings have several names, all very complicated. So far I haven't been able to find any websites just giving lists of generic Indonesian names. Can anyone reccomend one? I really don't care WHAT they're called as long as it's realistic.

Why do you even bother with the research forum if that's the kind of answer you're going to give?

Try 20,000 names for a few more ideas, not sure how much it will help though. I'd guess a lot of names in chinese or similar would work well too.

Actually, a lot of Chinese in Indonesia don't have Chinese names. I'm sorry I don't know any traditional Indonesian names, but the Indonesians I know have normal names: Angela, Elsa, Frankie.

Wow, dude, it's not a problem. No, seriously. I can't stress how much of a pleasure it was to provide you with the useful information. I'm just glad I have made a brand new friend.

Try here bottom half of the page for first names
The confusion over surnames is that they don't name like we do & various influences have their effect - sometime those with multiple names are given a generic surname, sometimes the supposed surname is from the parents first names - there are a variety of cusomts.
