Swords

I am doing a fantasy story and I was wondering; do you guys know a site where it shows the different areas of the medieval sword and how it was used? Swords are used in my story alot and I just want to make sure I am calling the right things what they are!

With any research attempt NEVER consult just one source.

Try googling it. Vivisimo is another good one to use.

The Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, Massachusetts (near me) has a nice web site with some general information and under the Collections & Research tab there is a list of links for arms and armory research. http://www.higgins.org/
