Question I see dead people

Does anyone here have a coroners background? Maybe a CSI member? LOL

I need to know how long it would take a body to dessicate/mummify in, say, the desert of Arizona in the summer? I'm talking about a body inside a building with AC; inside a building without AC; and outside a building.

All and any help, even if it's just a link to a relevent website, will be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

We could do a real-time study on the subject if you like murder - I've never been a corpse before.

I promise not to tell anyone...

...unless it hurts.

jokers aside, mike, just do some creative googling, and you'll get all the info you need...

If it's for your NaNo, (and you don't get the answers you're lookikng for here) you can also post it on the Plot and Character realism section at NaNo. It's a hotbed of information over there. I got the answer on how long it would take to roast complete, medium sized duck over a fire, on a spit in fairly short order.
