Copyright symbol in mircrosoft works
Does anyone know how to make a copyright symbol in microsoft works?
No, I'm no so ignorant that I believe I need one on my writing to validate my ownership. This is actual research for a poem that I'm writing (which you may find in the poetry section sometime in the future...maybe)
Thanks or no thanks in advance.

Microsoft Works? Isn't that an oxymoron?
Tell me you meant Word, please. Works is such an old program... I remember using it in elementary school.
Anyways, if you're using a Mac, the copyright symbol is control + G, trademark is control + 2, and registered symbol is control + R.
If you're using a PC, you have to through all sorts of needless crap. In Word you go to "insert symbol" and it should be in there somewhere. I have no idea about Microsoft Works because like I said, it's a very old program that no one uses anymore.

In Word, I just type ( c ), the characters form instantly into the copyright symbol.

Through some research all my own, I figured it out. And for those of you who would like to know,(without the Attacks On Your Chosen System Of Literature Creation By Hodge©) you can make it by typing the following:
(c)
The autocorrection system in Microsoft Works will change it to the copyright symbol for ya'. I'd like to thank Myself for all of his hardwork and dedication. I would never of had this breakthrough without it.
P.S.
Hodge, I am sorry for my ignorance. Your bible beating preaching has unveiled a whole new world.
P.P.S.
Excuse me for being old skool.
P.P.P.S.
(None of the above should be taken seriously (well, except for the whole "how you make the copyright symbol in microsoft works" part))
P.P.P.P.S.
I am very tired, and may, or may not, be making much sense right now.
P.P.P.P.P.S.
Excuse all the P.S.'s, its just a phase I'm going through.
EDIT: Note, LisaJane made her post as I was making mine. My apologies to her.

For numbers on this, use the keypad at the right of your keyboard.
© - hold down the Alt key while punching 0169.
® - Alt-0174.
™ - Alt-0153.
There's a slew of Alt characters, including tilded n, accented letters, unlauts, etc.

It may depend on your version of Works.
In version 5.0, click on "Insert" (at the top of the screen); select "Special Character" from the drop-down menu. Eureka!
