Fantasy culture/tribe names help...

Hey everybody, I'm writing a fantasy novel and I need some help trying to come up with some different cultural and/or tribal names. Any ideas are welcome...thanks.

You could think about the culture's they're based on, or are a mixture of, and then find meaningful words from those languages. Randomly combining letters until something sounds right doesn't hurt, either.

Ben is on a distinguished road
Well, I don't really want to reference my own story... but I'm going to do it anyway

In the story my friend are writing, there are two guys - one named Salem and one name Nathaniel. Long story short is that they both end up getting their own tribes.

Now, the guy called Salem kinda loves himself a bit. So we changed his name around and came up with a new one. Everybody that's part of Salem's tribe are called Saelens.

Nathaniel on the other hand is pretty cool and down to earth.. kinda. So we didn't mess around with his name. His people are just 'Nathaniel's followers'.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... just mess around with names until you're happy with what you've got. I probably could've just said that without the reference but.. meh.

Hope I helped a little.
