major movie production& consulting firms

Hey all, m'new here

I'm trying to get a new story off the ground, and I need to know something about major movie production-I'm not talking do-it-yourself with a videocamera. I can't seem to find a book or anything by a producer or director of a major motion picture, like an autobio that goes into what went on behind the scenes, problems they ran into, actor clashes, money issues, etc.

I also need some info about consulting-don't know a thing about it! Or, ultimately, I guess the firm could be anything, I just need the "I'm a boring exec nearing 30" crisis to be genuine Heh, I guess that's all for now!

Has a day to day production outline of what was shot on set, for the star wars movies. It also gives insight into some of the issues that were faced during production.

Also if you are into Star Wars at all or know someone who is, you can get the dvd's of the first three movies (4,5,6) and there is a fouth disc that comes with those movies which has a two and half hour documentary on how star wars was made. It gives a really indepth look into what went wrong during production and the issues that were being brought up by fox at the time, and lots of other information that could help you.
