Dances

I'm trying to figure out names of different dances. The one I'm really looking for is slow and seductive. I've had tango and salsa, and cuban recommended already, but I think these are a bit too upbeat.

Anyone have any suggestions? It'd be really cool if you could give a brief description too, because I don't know too much about forms of dancing.

tango is considered by far the most sensual of dances... and it's not really too upbeat. if danced in the right way, that is.

what you might have in mind is the parisian 'apache' style, where the couple often does everything sex-related, short of removing their clothes... it's very much a man's seductive power over woman sort of thing, with the woman going so far as to grovel at his feet...

the woman wears a tight, low-cut top and a tight skirt slit thigh-high... the man wears equally tight trousers and a skin-tight knit shirt... both will usually wear berets and the guy traditionally has a cigarette dangling from his lower lip... it's quite an athletic dance, with the woman getting tossed around, lifted, and such... but there's lots of body-rubbing and writhing going on, as well...
