The Question of the day...

...well, my day at least.

If you got punched in the throat, how would if feel?

See, I never had the pleasure, and I'm wondering how you think it would feel. My guess is that it would kind of shock your system, like getting the wind knocked out of you, but worse. I have it written that she (the character that it happens to) chokes and basically becomes incapacitated because her body is trying to restore basic function. She blacks out a bit, but comes to fairly quickly (3 minutes).

The punch is more of a quick jab, the attacker wasn't able to put alot of weight into it. But I still think a hit like that would stop someone for a good bit. Any other opinions?

Nickie is an unknown quantity at this point
I'd have to ask one of my victims... I have delivered a punch to some guys who came too close in my lifetime, but never bothered to ask them afterwards how they felt...

i got punched in the throat once. The main sensation i got was a horrible awareness of the fragility of my throat as it connected. I bit my tongue and got lights in front of my eyes. Wind didnt get knocked out but i had to cough a couple of times convulsively.

Sweet, well not sweet that you got punched in the throat, Kintaris, but good to hear what happened to someone who experienced it.

And thanks thedarkboots and Nickie for your info too. Well more to thedarkboots, because Nickie now just frightens me.
