In 1985-86, a gram of coke in San Jose was $30 in a little paper package called a "bindle". An "eight ball" was 1/8 of an ounce, or 3.5 grams, and was "discounted"; I never bought that much. 1000 grams sold for $1200-$2000 and was much more pure, but the connections at that level were very scary/risky. You had to be a dealer if you were buying that much, and everyone was worried about narcs or getting ripped off or killed. With that much, it would be "cut" or "stepped on" with other stuff to make the value go up: half baby formula, half cocaine, and now you have 2000 grams of coke that will sell for $5000-$6000.
A condom would probably hold 300 grams of almost pure coke, as a guess.
