Need someone with knowledge of the 80's

I really try to keep my stories as timeless as possible, or current.

However for this story part of it takes place in the 80's.
Prefrebly I need suggestions for movies.

Criteria

-Romance
-Popular when it came out
-Has to be a bad movie
-Made before 85'

My second question is were there such things as power windows for cars back then before 85'. I mean for more specifically for Rolls Royces or any expensive type cars.

ANy help is apreciatted.

good 80's reviews on

http://www.nostalgiacentral.com/80/80tv.htm

And the rest ...Google it, much better than any individual opinion. I'd use search words "80s critique" "Calmille Paglia" etc

Thanks teflon, great site. Its definitly going to help me.
Been working on my story the whole day pretty much, along with visiting this site.

Kind of sad that I only got about 1200 words in about 8 hrs of writing. But I also blame this site, it has side tracked me a lot.

I think WF is a great practicum (Synaesthetes, Color Game, and other threads stimulating imagination) but other threads maybe a distraction for someone in the middle of a project.

How about popular, expensive and highly touted until the audiences and critics actually saw it? If so, try Heaven's Gate (1980), a nuke among bombs.

i hadta laugh at this one, qohn!... not at you, for being young, but just at how things usually look to the young!... at 66, i can tell you what it was like in the 40s!!!

anyway, i had a couple of cadillacs, a lincoln town car, then a toyota cressida station wagon in the 70s and early 80s... ALL with power windows... so, it's not just the rolls that were that 'advanced' then... they all even had power seats... and the lincoln had a power sun roof... stereo sound, too...

actually, i think power windows were 'options' on ordinary cars back to the 60s at least...

anything else you need to know about any age back to the 40s, just drop me a line... anything before then, i can still give you accurate, 'informed' info on...

for the movies, just go to imdb.com and you'll get cast, plot, etc., on just about ever movie ever made...

love and hugs, maia
