I am currently a student from the University of Derby. I am taking a course on Creative Writing. I would be extremely grateful if you would be willing to help me gather information by answering a few questions for me either via MSN messenger, or via a short questionnaire that I will send by email.

My dissertation title will be “Why People Write”. With the information that I will collect, an article will be written based on the stated title.

I will be interested in finding out:

• When the individual first began to write
• What inspired the individual to become a writer
• What genre of writing the individual produces
• What factors influence the way in which the individual writes

you know, you might actually have a better paper if you interview people who write who aren't published yet.


because then you know full well we don't do it for the money.

I am using both published AND non publishes authors, however I already have a substantial number of non publishes writers, I am only in search for published writers now, as this is the difficulty...
