Research on Beetnik Clubs
Can anyone direct me to some good sites on Beetnik clubs. I don't even know if I spelled that right I have looked on the net but nothing comes up. I need any ifo you can share, how they dressed, atmosphere, what they drank....

Black clothing, black coffee, strong cigarettes in black boxes, finger snapping instead of clapping...

Google "beat generation" for better hits than "beatniks". (Beatnik was a term coined by famed San Francisco columnist Herb Caen, not one of the "hip" himself.)
