I find this subject fascinating. As far as I am aware a Neural Network has not been able to illicit emotion. Many of, maybe even all, of our emotions come from our evolution. A book I found interesting on this subject is called Emotional Intelligence (I can't remember the author). So a neural network has none of this 'baggage'. On the other hand it is possible to [/i]simulate all human behaviour including emotion. Chess programs for example don't use AI but simulate intelligence through the search algorithm. Computer games simulate intelligence. Take Streetfighter or Tekken where the computer player you could say shows fear, anger and agression during the fight.
