Pendulum is an unknown quantity at this point
Type it in on google, there are thousands of sites that would be useful. There was a really interesting fictional book that i read that talked in the autistic person's point of view. It was called "the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime" and it really allows you to explore the persons mind and how it works.

Go to this website:

Click on choose a forum, scroll down to Xyberkids.

The forum leaders for that board are two teachers, they use wearable computers with autistic children. They are very nice people. They haven't posted in awhile, but I am sure they read. Post them a question or ask for their email address and I bet they will give you any information you need.
If you don't get a response, email me and I can give you their email address.

Just as a disclaimer, I invest in Xybernaut.

That depends on what type of Autism you are interested in and the severity with which the person is afflicted. My brother has Autism and is alot different to what you would see on rain man, although when he was young he was alot worse. He has progressed leaps and bounds since then and alot of people don't even know he has it when they first meet him.

There are a few other syndromes on what is called the Autism spectrum as well, all diverse yet similar in some ways. The amount of differences are often very overlooked by people who don't know much about these ailments.

In terms of resources on the net, don't even bother with alot of the forums and e-mail circles run by parents for parents, alot are filled with nothing but bleeding heart attention seekers who want you to feel sorry for them because they have it so hard, never once giving thought to the child who has to live with the symptoms. My advice is to find a forum specifically for people with the afflictions. They will be alot more helpful to you, trust me, I know, I have Asperger's syndrome which is a form of Autism on the higher end of the spectrum.
