Ha. Good question...and it depends on where I am.

I work on POS airplanes, most of which leak all over the place, so I ALWAYS wash my hands BEFORE going to the bathroom when at work, but rarely afterwards, because the toxicity of what I'm getting on my hands from the plane is much worse than any bit of naturally manufactured waste...That makes an interesting point that I always wash my hands before eating at work, for both reasons that I've probably touched at least one disgusting piece of flying contraption and also having gone to the bathroom...

If I'm not at work, then I always wash my hands after going to the bathroom.

I'd like to think that as we're the cultured elite of the world, i.e. writers, that the mundane sexual stereotypes don't apply to our enlightened minds. So let's all get naked and read Kafka.

I think little cowlicks and things of that nature are sexy. I have a widows peek myself and most men seem to like it, so why can't a woman like things of that nature as well.

Pawn, I'm with you, please and thank you. Can I make the ladies drink, Sing-A-Pore-Slings. You bring the chocolates

I always wash my hands after using the bathroom. Not aggressively, but a quick rinse with a pump of soap.

Having been put back on Mid-Shift, aka the Grave Yard Shift, I now have the opportunity to see the craziest of shows on British television. Just yesterday I watched, "Dangerous Liasons", the French version of "Cruel Intentions". While the two movies had a general plot in common, the main difference was that in Liasons, the whole goal seemed to be, "Hurry and get done with this scene so we can go to the next naked French girl." That, and the language dubbing was awful, I'm pretty sure the same female was used for all female voices and the same male was used likewise.

Anyways, now you know what kind of show I'm watching at night. Tonight was a crazy Japanese show about this girl, that for some reason or another is under the control of some guy...I don't fully understand, it had subtitles and I missed most of them while playing computer games. Whatever, not important. How this guy is in control of her is by remote control, he's controlling some sort of vibrator or similar, again, not totally clear. What this girl has to do, is run around doing various errands while having a continuous orgasm. Seemed pretty stupid, I dunno why she didn't just remove the devise.

My question to the girls, is that possible? It doesn't seem like it to me...for a guy, of course we have refractory periods, but also, after a variable number of orgasms, there is no longer any interest for more. It's kind of "Just stop touching it, it's worn out for the night." It seems like it'd be the same for a girl.

I did think the movie was pretty crazy considering that the whole premise of the movie was the amount of control the guy with the remote had over the girls behavior.

The one that makes the man in question look the most appealing.

We all have little “quirks” about our features that give us “character” (I cringe, at that sanguine expression). Now, while we should embrace our “uniqueness,” there are certain things one can do to make that cute quirk into a freaking facial epidemic. Hair can be one of those things that can make that goofy mishap of nature into something loveable, or turn it into The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I'll use Tom Cruise as an example. Many women (but not all) seem to find him "handsome" (albeit, a tad ...eccentric...). You see, TC has a "generous" size nose. So IMO when his hair is cut shorter (Mission Impossible:1) it seems to accentuate it (::clears throat:: but he's still adorable ). But, IMO, in Mission Impossible: 2 where his hair is a bit longer, the schnoze doesn't appear (to me) to be as “overpowering.”

But the one haircut I (and all of the female friends I have) would advise a man to steer clear of -- is what is known as a “Mohawk.” Especially if that tuff of unruly hair is of the “unnatural” variety of color. I’m not saying there isn’t a woman out there that wouldn’t dig it. I’m just speaking for the majority of females I know (and their mothers... fathers.... dogs).

Also, on a side note a personal peeve of mine is when a man has obviously bathed, but then (for unknown reasons) proceeds to slather his head with copious amounts of stylin' gel. My take on this ever grievous crime of male grooming is this: if you're gonna go through the trouble of bathing, at least once you leave your house look the part. No girl wants to fantasize about running her fingers through a forest full of greasy gel bombs... or even worse -- hard, sharp little sprigs of dry unmoveable hair (y'know the type that you can catch a ring on... which makes for a very unpleasant situation afterwards).

Bah, I don't really care about my nails. I've been trying to grow them long (because I'm notorious for biting them), and occasionally I'll use nail polish, but I don't really give a care what colour my nails are.

Anyways, the first thing I notice about a guy is his overall vibe... Not neccessarily any particular features, or qualities, but just an overall combination of the way he carries himself, his natural facial expression, etc.

I tend to prefer shy, quiet guys, because I'm shy and quiet myself. I'm also very impressed when a guy shows depth or intelligence, and a display of wisdom drives me wild. Physical appearance is of little importance to me, but I'd still call it somewhat relevant. I think that no matter what someone looks like though, if I'm attracted to them as a person, I'll become physically attracted to them as well.

I have a question for guys:

Say you're sitting in a classroom. Several girls are sitting together, socializing. Another cluster across the room consists of a mix of girls and guys, also socializing. Then there's a girl off in the corner, just thinking, writing, drawing, or something like that.

Who are you going to notice first?

And also, what's your opinion on shy girls? Is it an attractive thing? Does it make them downright unattractive? Or do you just prefer the more social type?

Also, when it comes to hair, do you prefer a girl to wear it up or down?

1. Sitting in a classroom: First, did I just walk in? Or was I there first? How long have I been attending this class? If I just walked in, I usually feel a little self conscious and I will get situated before noticing anyone, but then I might notice the quiet girl first because she's "safer". If I was the first person there, I'd notice everyone as they come into "my" territory. If this was Week 3 of a 9-week course, I'd notice everyone because I would be a member of the group.

2. Shy girls are attractive to me. Always were. But I have a friend, Sam, who cannot be bothered with shy girls because he used to see them as mysterious and spent much energy trying to get to know them, only to find out that their shyness veiled vanity and shallowness. So he won't even think twice about a shy girl anymore.

3. Hair up, hair down...all in the right moment, all things. There is something really sexy about seeing a woman with her hair up take it down because she's relaxing around you. Music videos capture that frequently. I personally love it when my wife wears her hair back, when I can see her ears and all of her face. She deosn't prefer it that way, but wears it that way for me sometimes.

4. Please note my mohawk in my avatar. Yes, that's really me. Ok, it wasn't really green, but it was real. Someone earlier said that most women and their dogs wouldn't like that. That's true. But who is really trying to find "most women"? Or "most men"? Aren't you looking for one? I think you are more likely to be happy with what you find if you were putting out the True You when you were looking.

5. Responding to an earlier question and resultant comments: Yes, I think that one of the big faults of the so-so writer is to reflect their own gender when describing characters. Of course, being male,I notice it most when women authors describe men poorly, or describe how their male character sees women inaccurately. But some did it well. For instance, Dorothy Sayers does not set off my BS detector when she describes men or their feelings.

Personally that type of girl drives me nuts, in a good way. Probably because I'm shyness personified, and I hate loud girls. I'd also find it easier to approach her than if she was in a group. To me if a girl looks intelligent, she's much more attractive. If Im honest, looks are important, but I just find the student look ( book in in hand, glasses, fashionably scruffy clothes) a real turn on. Also, someone else metioned they dont like guys who smirk when you look at them. I do that, but believe me, it's nothing to do with arrogance. It's just a habit I have when I talk to good looking girls.
