Over The Top Prices

i have been looking at publishing a book from a few web pages and their prices are over the top expensive £999.00 to publish a book and get 50 free coppys
man that is a bit pricey dont you think and what if you put them all around how would anyone know it exsists or how will you know if its ever going to sell and how will you know if its ever going to be any good..?
so its kinda confuseing huh

Spudley is an unknown quantity at this point
If you're going to self-publish, I would say you might be better to go with a print-on-demand service where you only buy the number of books that you actually want.

Thats why I wouldn't self publish or anything. I'd always go about things the usual way, if I ever wrote anything good enough to be published.

Why don't you work hard on whatever you're wanting to be published and sent it to some agants or something? mostly their commission is a percentage of your earnings, which means you wont have to pay anything up front either.
