    Who's to say...?

    Hi my friends,
I go by the nick jamie's here, and would like to say that I am glad about being able to post here with all of you.
I have a question for those who are able to answer it, please:
I am a non-English speaker from East Europe who is trying to write in English. Therefore I have chosen to try and write low brow stuff in English, as I don't have the language proficiency needed to try and write something high brow.

Is it possible to get in touch with a publisher from the English speaking countries who would gladly accept to review my work (novel(s) fit for paper back, sold in the railway, etc. stations; nothing demanding for a reader, but enough intriguing to keep them turning the pages pretty quickly

Am I to be cautious when offering my writing to a publisher, i.e. is there a danger of the publisher offering my original 'syntactic forms and style' to an already distinguished author who is in need for such forms, style and ideas?

Thanks for your help and contribution,
    jamie's

Welcome - For a non-native English speaker you write it very well, but not yet well enough to get published, but then, that's what this forum is for. Read posts in the fiction section, see how it's done, then start posting your own stories - The more you write, the better you will become.
