"I must create my own system of be enslaved by another man's."

WILLIAM BLAKE, poet, engraver, painter, and mystic philospher was born in 1757. His first
poems, 'Poetical Sketches', appeared in 1783. 'Songs of Innocence' followed in 1789, and 'Songs
    of Experience'
was produced in 1794. During his life he created a series of long poems commonly
known as the 'Prophetic Books' based on his visions. Among the long poems are 'The Book of
    Urizen'
and 'The Song of Los' which illustrate the world's evil and the limitations created by law and
reason on the imagination. Blake died in 1827.

What is your understanding of William Blake and his poetry?

Does this quote mean to say "... or be enslaved by another man's."?

I like this, it is true. Do it your way or end up doing it someone else's way.
