Is to love just a waste,
as pointless as to hate,
you may as well just wait,
until we disintegrate.
the world will have its way.

you have to surrender,
to powerful to overcome,
why does it matter,
my heart is a slum.

you were waiting for a moment,
but the moment never came,
all your time is spent,
slowly slipping far away.

so just keep on dreaming,
its all to keep you from screaming,
our lives wasting away,
seconds dripping like rain,
down my window pane.
