Bitter Snowstorm
Ash floats from the sky-
a mocking snowstorm denies
denizens of spring.

Chains encircle my body-
Binding me to destroyed dreams.

This brought to mind the LA fires, when it was literally raining ash. the full stop after body in S2 should be a comma. and I think a dash after sky in S1. This is quite a good short piece. It creates a definite image even if I'm getting the wrong one.
