Colors
See,
Orange moonlights as sunlight,
Drawing the populace to civil modes,
Connect the dots yourself;
Node to node regression,
Tinkering with the spectrum,
Sipping nectar in Olympus,
If it were only as simple as flicking a switch,
Than we could all be sticklers,
To the awkwardly Orwellian manifest.
Anthropomorphic blues, accrued with the test of time,
Drawing lines in the sand with a box of tutti-frutti crayons,
Take a shot of primordial slime and evolve seven-fold,
Fission reactor insolence; liquored up on Darwinism.
The mission spills crimson across the commissioned system,
War peaks with success before crashing to the floor,
Doors slam in the face of the founding foundation policy,
Civilization odyssey; to bring culture to the heathens,
Crusades peter out, fitful to the last drop of plasma,
Brothers, fathers, sons will be atomically reconstructed.
Fade to black.
