Lawrence Ferlinghetti - help?
Hi, I'm Lori, and basically, I am doing a project for English on poets from the Beat movement, and I am supposed to analyze their writing style, the meaning of a poem, and tie it with their history. Anyway, the poem I chose to do by Lawrence Ferlinghetti is called "Populist Manifesto No. 1" and although I have found coppies of it online, it is not in the original, free form formating. The project is due pretty soon, and I thought I could find the original poem online in it's written form, but I've looked at about 20 websights, and all of them only have it with the poem set to the left. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the original version online, or is there anyone who randomly has the poem on their computer, or could possibly scan it and email it to me? This is a long shot, I know, but I thought it was worth a try.
