Pale Gallery is on a distinguished road
Costume No. 1

Dress was at mine earlier, for breaky.
Gave me her flower for a cupa tea.
Love.

It was getting near to the eve.
Started to get ready.
Put on me costume.

Walked out of the door, stood on cat.
The cul-de-sac was ready.
I was pretty.

Everyone followed me down the road.
We were ready.
Strolled down the pavement
keeping the pace steady.
Ready.

The bird fucking died.

"Get that shit sick off the road Toby!"
Jim cackled at my expression,
Toby was in utter scaredom.
So the night went on.

We sat on the street sign for a good few.
Began to get tiresome, Ste was shagging Sue.
We saw it through their window.
Disgustin' little beggars.

In a bit.

It strongly reminds me of ee cummings. The playful use of language, but the controlled style and deliverance of the poem are great. I like this a lot.
