Matthatter is an unknown quantity at this point
What's beautiful?

What exactly is it that makes something beautiful?
A flower, some bird, or anything
you find amazing...
why do you?

Do you prefer the way particular lightwaves massage your pupils?
The world fitted tight in a sweater that suits you?
Or, is it the sound of a single phoneme,
or the dress the silence takes once hearing the call that follows?

beauty is in the eye of the beer holder ...

I'm not so sure about this one. It's like it's working for me, but at the same time it isn't. I feel lost while reading. The first stanza seemed good, but the last one bewildered me.

This poem asks a question, an unoriginal question, and doesn't give an answer. After the first line, this poem goes nowhere. It would be more interesting if you described what beauty meant to you; at least give us something where we can agree or disagree. You should also focus on your line breaks.
