The laughing snot bubble
I had a sense of humour
but I put it down to grieve
and whilst I didn't laugh no more
still it chuckled on my sleeve.
It said "Tee hee"
and "Moo haha"
and "Would you credit that,
you used to be the laughing type
but now you're just a twat.
You hid your smile in fleshy cheeks
and trod in murkey depths.
How good for you
that I eschewed
the sobbing while you wept.
Ta he di dum
ta he di dum
ta hee di diddly oh
could you wipe me please
up off your sleeve -
there's still more laughs to go".

I don't write poetry. I don't read poetry. I don't even come into the poetry forum. But when I saw this title, I just had to find out what in the world this was all about. LOL, I really enjoyed this, gross as it is. On the surface, it is body function humor at its finest, but there is actually a good bit of depth here as well. Get on with life, the bubble is saying. Heehee.

I said Twat like a Canuck (taahco) and theres should be there's. Should IT be It, or are you referring to a technical college? You do make decent use of a nursery's rhythm, actually. Good.

Apparently, as a Canadian, I say taahco instead of taco, meaning tack-o.
GV thinks this is hilarious.
