NYC 2003

The sweet bouquet of alley water
symphony of speeding cars
Distant laugh of ghetto daughters
filtered air of coffee bars

Concrete jungle skirting Eden
scars that mark the empty sky
Islanders, their rhythm beaten
into every breath they sigh

Fashionista paradiso
subway cowboys with PDAs
Foreign films and lukewarm Miso
vendors, pets and Escalades

Moonlight falling on her shoulders
poised atop the Empire State
Harbor lady, growing older,
lifts her torch to sons of fate

Eiji Tunsinagi is an unknown quantity at this point
The greatest, dirtiest, grimiest, racist, fun, absurd, extreme, party-of-a-city there is. Even if you hate the city, everyone loves New York City.

Really beautiful imagery, however, nothing seemed to be happening, simply a background description. Although the end did get more eventful. A wonderful portrait, in any case.

More of a snap shot than a portrait. I think that you could do more with this.
