Color Me Unsatisfied
An insatiable desire
seems to fit my name
far more better than
any other thing.
It seems to me that
I can never have
my way.
I wish I was there
where my friends were hangin',
but life isn't allowed
to play favorites, and
it doesn't seem fair,
but I can't let it get to me.
It seems I've never had a chance
to say my piece
before whirlwinds come.
My words they seize.
I never asked for much.
I figured that's the way
it ought to be.
But, now I feel like I deserve a little more
than what life has thrown at my door.
I just wanted to be satisfied
and feel like I worth something
to someone's life.
Maybe I'm just selfish
or maybe it's greed,
but the desire in me
needs to feed.
