If I Had Any Sense At All
If I had any sense at all I’d turn and say something so gut-wrenchingly fantastic
You’d grin with your arms outstretched
Crooked elbows and hands crucified over a Cartesian X-Y axis,
So expectant self assured,
And break into the wild
Happy happy happy dance.
We’d align into functions that turn and break, going nowhere,
To oscillate and shoot off into infinite space.
If I had any sense I’d say
We’ve got no limits.
