Chardonnay Morning.

Epoch of denial Chardonnay in the sunlight.
9.15 AM Suburbia swings, no one hears the music.
Sunlight in the conservatory, yet a cold wind blows.
Animation in the AM, so no one knows.

In this gilded cage she never sings.
Lucky girl everyone says.
But he never stays more than a moment.
He “comes” even less these days.

On her vine she withers, the irony intense.

10.15AM it makes more sense.

Chardonnay brings its own rewards
A price high some might say
Many would pay she is the best
Chardonnay morning and all the rest.

11.15AM Sunless sexless ended

Edgewise is an unknown quantity at this point
Don't quite know what this one was about (drinking in the morning?), but I liked the way it sounds.
