Painting Haiku

Painting knives and paint
bring internal loves to life
a moment frozen

Hi Mack. Welcome back. Enjoyed the big smoke did you? Is the back of you neck sore from looking up at the buildings?

Old housepainter paints
landscapes, lakes, leaves and houses.
Love from bristles flows.

I associate painting the house with marital bliss. Becasue that's when your wife feels sorry for you AND is happy the house is getting a new look.

Teflon, Ironically, I was a house painter for 25 years before I picked up artist's brushes. I agree with you about your wife. We are both fortunate. Our wives appreciated us just doing the work, many couples nearly divorce over home renovations.

mjk, mjk, thanks and sticky spiders painting

jR, whre's your haiku response?
Yeah I liked the big smoke, but damn, I forgot how much I hated traffic.

didn't ya see it? Look again, buddy.
Yes, the traffic sucks. We had a dinner in Scarberia the other night. Not only the traffic, but fear of stray bullets and carjackers. Gimme small town life anyday.

goofball, it's been there all the time in the box above. How, pray tell, do you see the canvas, let alone the brushes? Or are you yanking my chain like the giggling old goat you are? cheers.
