i don't believe i have commented on one of your works before. (a little intimidated, truth be told) i like this one very much. i'm not sure what it is exactly. maybe the reminder of a past warm, fall sunset.

I like the alliteration. Haiku can be hard to work sonic devices into.

I especially like how "threadbare branches" feels in ones mouth.

Well thank you Frank! Pussy willows are a seasonal favourite which we could find wild where I grew up. Fascinating creatures that still make me recall the softness against my cheek as they brushed me when I carried them.
