Haunted

Look into my eyes, search in my soul,
look for my heart, that you once stole.
Concealed inside, locked away,
in my heart you'll forever stay.

Cry in my arms, lurk in my mind,
my love for you, you have to find.
Its locked away, under layers of pain,
clinging to hope, just to stay sane.

I'm lost in your eyes, lured by your kiss,
such wonderful things, trapped in bliss.
Call me a sinner, for I know not,
but our love, I have not forgot.

Eh this heartbreak has yet to be cured, and has been stretched upon 3 years now. It seems you cannot outrun your past.

Thanks for your words of wisdom, but my shoes tend to be that of work boots.

Maybe I should invest in some new memories.

You know I am not one to talk, I hung on to a memory for years and years but I filed it away and locked it up. You dont have to let go of the person completly you just have to find that special place to store them and be open to those that will love you back your young and will have an extensive filing cabinet by the time your 20 no doubt!

At least im well educated way beyond my years.

bit of a typo, perhaps even a freudian slip? I think you meant lack of maturity.
