Just Find Some Time

I dreamed that Pontius Pilate was hanging from the tree,
Jesus happened down the road and then He set him free.
Jesus told the crowd He’d do the same for you and me.
Still, some of us are so blind that we still cannot see.

Love your neighbor as yourself, that’s not so hard to do,
But who can love their enemy? Can you tell me who?
Then we’re told that we should turn the other cheek, too.
These are things a Christian does so he can pay his due.

God gives us so many blessings each and every day.
To thank Him for these gifts we should try to find a way.
God doesn’t ask much in return, He doesn’t ask for pay,
just find some time to get down on your knees and pray.

silverwriter is an unknown quantity at this point
hello there.

he’d do the same for you and me - uppercase 'h' (? you use uppercase for both don't you?)

he doesn’t ask for pay - same

this is a nice piece. it flows nicely, has a nice/calm/soft message and doesn't throw the reader into an emotional heap. (this is much appreciated when i am lacking coffee, breakfast, and a good temper)

nicely done psyman

*hugs*
