Throw Down Your Banners
On the forefront of war the smoke was never cleared
and so he disappeared
With his artillary of dedication
Like others who have went missing
A hopeless prayer
Called out to God in a terrible dark night
We thought the world would end
Tall he was
Young
Rejuvenated
Handsome
A Solomons Song
Naive to liberation
In the hot desert
Tears swallowed in a blameless stain
Innocent
A mothers heart
A fathers name
America where's your banner
And so in a singled filed line
They salute their broken dreams
and their untuned song
then......the smoke cleared
there lied her son.....
there lied her only begotten son
her only hope that her life brought her
there lies her son!!!
Underneath a banner he never lived to raise
