this one might just be my favorite. beautiful imagery, j.r.

i would be curious to see this book you are talking about and see how closely the images you inspire in my head match with the images on the page.

my second read. i thought i thanked you on my first visit, but apparently not. it shall not happen again. always a pleasure.

mjk: now I think I need a code word to thank you for being such a consistent and kind reader. The book is called Offerings: Buddhist wisdom for every day. It's by Danielle and Olivier Follmi. It's availabe at indigo.ca and likely at amazon.com. The photos are wonderfully alive, much like yourself. I'm going to post some thoughts on this Haiku trip soon. It would be cool if you and/or some others would write along with me, and notes could be compared. The photos are labelled for each day of the year.
cheers, your grateful dickhead

j.jd: thanks for stopping by. The words will hopefully generate an image which is the meaning.

an inspired and fabulous idea jr. i'll be ordering this book and i'll write a haiku a day along with you. lovely. we should definitely promote this idea; i think a great deal of writers on this forum would enjoy this.

and now... i'm off to read more of your poetry. i need some more today and you're always so willing to oblige. at the risk of this getting entirely too sentimental, you're wonderful. thank you for posting.
