Blackened Forever
Blackened Forever
Cold
Winters wind
Blowing, pushing me down
Ice biting my skin
Grey,
My thoughts become
Quickly fading
Blackened unknown
It haunts my thoughts
Testing my morals
I wish to forget
Memories lacking laurels
Trapped are they
Floating in my head
Testing my nerves
I wish to scream
But my lips are silent instead
Unmoved by the rage inside
Eating away like acid
I cannot seem to live
For the memory lives on
Why is it I I ask
For I do not want this task
This burden is burrying down on me
I cannot shake it off
It stays forever with thee
I surrender onto my knees
Pleading a normal life for thee
I cant live with this pain inside
So I’ll end it all
For the memory is the truer crime
Reaching for the helve
Instead I grasp the blade
As it falls from the shelve
My life starts to fade
Foaming, frothing feverishly
Darkest of red soon it flows
Gushing out lavishly
Feeling nothing but repose
Gazing at the wounded limb
More of this I suddenly whim
With the power that I now behold
My fate it begins to slowly unfold
Trying to grasp the dagger
My hand begins to stagger
Slicked handle from my oozing blood
My throat I strongly wish to part
Instead I hit my dying heart
As I lay dying
I finally see
The light god had sent to me
But now the light grows darker and darker
I wish I had thought so much harder
Please I beg
I don’t want to die
I wish to live
Instead I’m left here to bleed and cry
Gasping for air
The dagger was my err
Cold
Through my body
I shiver
Grey,
My thoughts become
Quickly fading
Blackened Forever
