Wired up love
WIRED UP LOVE

No touch of hands
Or brush
Of lips on lips


No stroke of face
Or grind
Of hips on hips


Just love…
And wires


But fingers dance
Over keys
Each jab a kiss


Sent through static
Under seas
Through earth and mist



Promised futures
And vows
Made with intent


To be together
In truth
Before life’s spent


Sleep comes unbidden
turn off
Portals of desire


To slumber and dream
Of just love…
no wire.

ooooooo I LOVE IT!

Internet relationships suck balls, i'm not even gonna lie. I loved this piece, it had a nice tone to it, and delivered a powerful messege. Very good work.

I'm new at the whole internet thing, love or otherwise...but it intrigues me, I see it more as a meeting of souls than bodies - eradicating the lust and starting with friendship then love...then, well, whatever comes next...
