The Camper
His landlord is the Park Service,
his mattress is the ground
and he has the biggest yard
in which to run around.
With a pillow made of pine cones
and the sun to keep him warm,
he’s lived in the great outdoors
since the day that he was born.
He’s never paid his taxes
and doesn’t seem to care,
‘cause the “he” that I’m referring to
is a great big fuzzy bear.

As always, you easily bring a smile to my face.
"and he his the biggest yard" - his = has
Great work. Keep it coming!

"On toppa old Smokey,
all covered with hair,
of course I'm referring
to Smokey da bear."
This reminds me of that...in some abstract way. Good piece.
