Is There Love

I grew up not knowing if really that there was love
so never did I ever really care for love
wanted to always know for never shown was love
due to forever in my life so rare at home was love

then I found love .. no longer - lonely .. no longer scared to love
prepared to love .. to share a love .. declare a love
forever paired in love

the good the bad were all the years happy/sad tears of love
just as I thought that love was clear my greatest fear from love
my heart stripped bare of love dispair was love .. in disrepair was love

that gave me love betrayed that love when she decieved our love
I prayed a prayer for love yet now I dont believe in love
thought I was spared now I'm back there
to wonder was there ever really there a love

Not a bad poem. I liked how you put great emphasis on the word love. However i feel as though the structure of the poem makes it very hard to read. Also, some lines in the poem where hard to read:

"I grew up not knowing if really that there was love"

I find this line hard to read because of the word "that". Why not try something like: "i grew up not knowing if love was there".

"so never did I ever really care for love"

I also find this line hard to read. Do you really need the word "really" in there.

Apart from that, not a bad poem. I enjoyed the read although i personally think you could smooth it out a little.
