Still It

I never saw you before
waiting on the cold shoreline,
disowned by the world,
waiting for a dream to take you.
But your fallen eyes found me,
and we finally met there;
where whispers built a heaven
and tears washed us clean.
Maybe it was nothing;
maybe it was everything…

the begining had me a little bit lost, but after reading it a few times, I think I started to get it... and the last two lines made me leap for joy... ok, so I didn't really leap... but they were real good and stuff...
